This morning, walking through JFK Terminal 8, I passed through what can only be described as a mass humiliation ritual disguised as airport security. 😵‍💫

Shoes stayed on — the one ritual TSA finally killed — but everything else remained:

chaos, bottlenecks, arbitrary rules, bins exploding everywhere, barking orders, and the

ritualized surrender of dignity. 🧳🧱🔄

And that’s when it hit me:

> “America copied the worst parts of Israel’s system and fused them with the worst parts of KafkaGPT — creating a machine that protects no one but humiliates everyone.”

# 🎭 SECURITY THEATER IS NOT SECURITY

Let’s call this what it is:

**We don’t have airport security.  

We have airport security theater. 🎬**

It’s a performance.

A ritual.

A system optimized for optics, not outcomes.

Here’s what Terminal 8 looked like today:

- 💻 laptops yanked out of bags  

- 💧 liquids displayed like sacred offerings  

- 🧥 jackets off, belts off, dignity off  

- 🔄 rules changing from lane to lane  

- 🎲 random secondary checks with no logic  

- 🧱 bins stacked like Tetris during wartime  

And the funniest part?

The removal of the shoe ritual — which was useless for 20 years — now exposes the absurdity of everything else.

If that rule was nonsense, what else is?

Spoiler: almost all of it.

Now add KafkaGPT‑style bureaucracy:

- 🌀 contradictory rules  

- 📋 obsession with procedure  

- 🚫 zero accountability  

- 🧟‍♂️ agents enforcing scripts, not intelligence  

And what do you get?

Our system refuses to acknowledge that.

No body‑scan humiliation.  

Just walk through — done.

- laptops stay in bags  

- liquids allowed (like Europe)

- dignity stays intact 😌

20–30 seconds.  

Calm, trained humans.  

Actual intent detection.  

Not mall-cop cosplay.

As I watched confused travelers fight over bins,

lines collapsing into each other,

and TSA agents contradicting one another in real time…

I realized:

> If you deliberately designed a system to punish normal travelers and still miss real threats — this is exactly what you’d build.

This isn’t a glitch.

It’s the architecture.

Ending one ritual (shoes) didn’t reform anything.

It just revealed how absurd the other rituals truly are.
