Postulate: The Old ‘War Order’ Died with the DOI

There is a much-claimed set of “laws of war” that include a few things that many allegedly honor but in fact it is only in the breach in the modern world that they mean anything.

I’ve come to believe that not only are these worthless in today’s world but in fact The Declaration of Independence rendered them all worthless.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–

An unalienable right cannot be assigned, it cannot be dissolved and for that reason it carries no capacity for agency.
